Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Flügeltürer

NEW TYPE! At Mercedes-Benz it is called the W 198, better known as the 300 SL Gullwing (SL stands for super-light). This refers to a top shape innovation, which was presented at the 2023 in-house exhibition in its first splashes and can now finally be delivered. 1,400 coupés were produced between 1954 and 1957, and a further 1,858 roadsters between 1957 and 1963. In 1999, the vehicle was voted "Sports Car of the Century" by readers of the German classic car magazine. The model initially appeared in black and silver metallic.
